Believe me, using VBA would have definitely made some things much easier. However, we know that VBA can break, and that it can be intimidating for some users, who want to change the template. So we managed to find ways to achieve everything we wanted without any custom coding. Just out-of-the box Microsoft Excel. And on top of that, we managed to keep the Workbook and all the functionalities compatible even with Excel 2010.
